All the above four messages indicate that you have not installed the
xserver packages properly. Did you try installing the
"x-window-system" pseudo package which takes care of installing the
Xserver and few basic X clients?

$ dpkg -l | grep "X Window" 

will give you information on what are the X Window system packages
that are currently installed on your machine.
