Hi all,

I installed Fedora Core 3, and everything else is doing fine except that I
cannot connect to internet using my Dax(Smart Link) modem. This internal
modem is not there in Hardware Browser. It is not being detected by
setserial or wvdialconf.
Please help me as KPPP is saying that Initializing and the log window shows
as Expecting:OK but nothing happens after that. I got the drivers from the
website smartlink.com, but it says something about compiling from the
scratch. It is not in rpm format. So if it is the only solution pls let me
know the link, where I can get info on how to compile that stuff and make
the modem working.
