IMAP itself supports disconnected operation. You mail client should have an
option like "make available for offline use". Enable that and then sync with
the imap server and you will be downloading the message bodies as well.
Most IMAP clients can do a full two-way sync, so you can sync the same mailbox
mail from your home and office PC.
