[Ilugc] wlan - access point for linux

Hi list

Could you please wlan accesspoint ( minipci or pci card ) that is know to work in linux 
( that has a proper working driver ).

Suppose i buy a WLAN card, can i make it to work as a accesspoint ?

or is there separate WLAN cards that works as acesspoint that is different from normal.

i need only boards that operate in 802.11g mode
