[Ilugc] Popularity of Windows

what i meant by this was it doesnt help either gnu/linux or the user who simply
wants to listen mp3s and play some games (cds borrowed from his
windows friends).

this is not  a preconceived opinion.
while i was wildly enthued abt gnu/linux 3/4 years back... i used to
recommend all
people gnu/linux. every place where i knew i had a say. i would spend most
of my weekends driving over to people's houses and installing gnu/linux.

but over time i learned that this method (push) does n't work.
people were n't ready to go all the difficulties that i took for granted.
so i stopped it.

but now seeing the improvements in usability i am giving it a thought again.
no no.. pushing does nt work.
or does it.
