Hi,

If you asked around for a distro for a particular purpose, you'll get
many different answers based on the experience of the people to whom you
are asking! Considering security top priority, I suggest you try either
Debian or Gentoo. Gentoo works on a similar package management system as
Debian but its source based. You also do not have to fall into
dependency hell, as the "emerge" package management system does all the
dependency resolution and installs all the necessary software. Regular
security updates are available as well.
Installing Qmail On Gentoo can be a breeze. Gentoo System are stable as
too(read 24/7).
Debian is know for its rock solid characteristics. Here too security is
given top priority and you can update security patches once in a while
and be safe.....
