Everything is good about Emacs, but the point is it doesn't support
anti-aliased fonts or even have a good set of fonts.  This might be 
because it runs on many operating systems that don't have support for
anti-aliased fonts, etc.

But, Emacs can probably detect the OS and the font support and make use
of it.  Probably like Mozilla/Firefox.
