Hmm...

       Something very interesting is going on in the open-source 
political arena. Seems like Andrew Tridgell of Samba fame has tried to 
reverse-engineer BitKeeper(the SCM tool used to develop the Linux 
kernel) metadata. Linus told about this to his friend and CEO of 
BitKeeper Larry McVoy. Larry got worried and tried to stop Andrew 
Tridgell from doing so, citing IP reasons. What followed is a brewing 
controversy which can have pretty heavy repurcussions for open-source 
software. Tridgell cannot defent himself as he's adviced not to by his
