Anyway, you need to compile xine-lib with xxmc (xvmc) support. mplayer
needs to be compiled with xvmc vo. And you need to invoke mplayer with
vo xvmc.

You don't get unichrome (hardware mpeg decoder) support by default in
any of the current distributions.

You can get xorg to support unichrome as well. But you need to get
xorg sources though, to be able to compile the drivers.
