Aha! I would said "Same Pinch" if u had told me this a week ago :p
Friend.. i have one way out, Just upgrade urself into FC4 :p
Or else change the distro, all Debian based Distros have a
comparitively easy way of connecting to BB. Thats what I experienced
with Ubuntu :)
I too had the same problem modprobe was able to detect rtk8139too but
dint know what was wrong preventing the BB from getting connected, now
i am using FC4 and connected my BB yesterday ( mine too is BSNL
ethernet connection) it worked fine.You need nothing to do jus
configure the adsl connection with adsl-setup as pppoe3.5-27 is there
with FC4 :D
