[Ilugc] LDAP + Folder/File permission issue

Hi,

I have configured LDAP for company, All the users can
able to login. But I could not assign permissions to
any of the files/directories.

when I use the command chown -r user.group /a/b it is
giving the error:
chown: 'user.group': invalid user.

I think the chown trying to refer the user and group
in /etc/passwd and /etc/group.

Please help me to solve this problem.

Also help how to configure SAMBA PDC + LDAP.
