[Ilugc] Internal modems with linux support

Hi,
I had set up SUSE 10.1 on a P-III box. All works fine except the
internal modem. The internal modem does not work in linux. I was
hoping that SUSE would detect all hardware. A little research showed
that mine was a winmodem which does not have a linux driver. Since
internal modems cost only less than 500Rs I am planning to get a
decent linux modem. Does anybody know if there is an easily available
(and easily installable) linux modem in Indian market
