You might want to take a look at gtk as well..
Just a suggestion if you dont know already, Whatever you do do not use
the code generation feature of glade2..Its a big no no..I had nightmares
with that. Code the callbacks manually..Instead use libglade to load the
glade xml during runtime. This way you dont need to compile the project
each and everytime you make changes to the UI. FYI, Glade3 has this code
generation "feature" completely removed. Additionally you might want to
install documentation regarding libglade, gtk2.0 through your package
manage system so that you may access them through devhelp.
