[Ilugc] Thunderbird View problem

Thunderbird 1.5.0.7 on Windows XP SP2.

I was using the vertical view like I used to in Outlook. Very convenient 
layout on a wide screen. Some sloppy fingers and I do not know which 
keys got pressed, the vertical pane showing the message list collapsed 
to a minimum width with no text seen. If the cursor is taken to the 
frame border, the double headed arrow cursor comes up but drag does 
nothing to expand the frame.

Any clues? If I need to edit the config like in Mozilla, I'll. I do not 
know how and which variables. Google did not help here.
