AFAIK, mozilla/firefox doesn't have any built-in support for
dynamic fonts. I doubt they even have it in their future plans. The
extension I mentioned actually translates the text encoding to unicode
so that they can be seen using the unicode fonts installed in your
system. By this I mean, you can even copy & paste the text to gedit
and it will still be unicode and viewable if you have any unicode font.

I have no idea about malayalam fonts but unless you are into DTP and
want to print a page with the exact font the site uses, IMHO, it doesn't
really matter :-)
