[Ilugc] Virtual consoles

Hi all,

I am using fedora4. I couldn't access my virtual consoles. I got blank
screen when i press ctrl+f1.
I have checked in /etc/inittab file.
This file has :
1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty1
2:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty2
3:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty3
4:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty4
5:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty5
6:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty6

So can anybody suggest me above scenario.
