Good to hear it worked out, so its not Media Error and more than that 
Dapper Drake got installed in a fly :)

Suggestion: In your *old* machine, with the same Dapper CD, run a 
memtest. The options can be selected when the initial screen pops up 
after you boot from the CD, offering you the choices to install, etc.
