[Ilugc] Hard drive partitions not visible during Etch installation

I was running a Debian Sarge-XP dual boot system until recently, when a
silly re-install of XP without precautions caused grub to be erased. After
trying out some things unsuccesfully to recover grub, I decided to install
Etch with the 3 DVDs. However, I find I cannot see the available partitions
during the manual partition step. All I see is the entire hard drive (80 GB)
which is partitioned eventually into 78.5 and 1.5 swap. I have 3 Windows
drives and one with Debian.
