avoid RH9 and RHEL.

Go for lightweight X window systems.
like windowmaker,fvwm,icewm,xfce,twm etc.

This month LFY comes with the Slackware11 DVD.
get it and install it.

Slackware is the best for even very low end systems.

dear,
T.Shrinivasan.
