I found that QCAD opens the AUTOCAD Files which are saved in .dxf format. But it only opens, thats all ....... No hatching lines are seen. Dimension lines are grotesque ..... Dimensions are in miniscule font size........

I am yet to download BRL CAD and use it. Does it offer smooth transition like Open office offers for MS Word files ( no loss of formatiing, fonts not getting distortrd etc.,)?
