[Ilugc] Fileserver

I am planning to convert a Intel Core 2 Duo machine into a fileserver
using linux. The memory present in the machine is 1 GB. The hard disk
capacity is 160 GB. This machine was previously used as a desktop.
Will this config be suitable for a fileserver or do you need a full
blown server for builing a file serverWill this
