for dns server on any installation put:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

this will use opendns which is more reliable than the crappy dns servers of
our ISPs

and no where on the packet will there be 'linux compatible' written.
Tataindicom promises linux compatibility and they will also listen to
complaints if it is not working on linux - their billing and complaint site
is also fully linux compatible. It is better to get less speed with linux
friendly hosts than more speed (in this case no speed) with non linux
friendly hosts.
