yes, it is done. any page other than the default PHP is able to get displayed on browser.
(e.g) If I say <http://192.168.x.x/XYZ.html>http://192.168.x.x/XYZ.html is becoming possible but not so with the default "INDEX.PHP"

I am not clear yet! Have you installed the web servers and others related to
it? Like php,apache2,mysql?
