[Ilugc] transfering an installation

Good day to all of you.
I need help in the following matter.
Ubuntu has been installed in /dev/sda3 which is about 100 gb.
Need to transfer the same to another partion which is /dev/sda5 size 45 gb.
what is the best method to follow without installing it again.
