[Ilugc] Firefox 3.0 in Debian Etch

Since Firefox 3.0 requires GTK 2.10, it will not run on Debian Etch
<http://www.captain.at/howto-run-firefox-3-debian-etch.php>. So, I have
downloaded and shared Firefox 3.0 and its Debian Etch dependencies at
<http://10.94.15.189/firefox-3.0/>.

But after installing GLib with prefix "/home/firefox-3.0-lib", when I try to
install Pango with:

    ./configure --prefix=/home/firefox-3.0-lib

it is unable to locate GLib. I also tried:

    export BASE_DEPENDENCIES_LIBS=/home/firefox-3.0-lib

Same problem with GTK+. How do I tell Pango and GTK+, the location of GLib?
