to elaborate, I do not see any sense in this analogy. In the first place hg is 
an executable and not a binary. And vi is a TRUE unix app that does ONE thing 
well. (the one thing that it does well is confuse the users, but that is 
besides the point). And as for emacs - I have already made enemies of the php, 
mysql and ubuntu communities here. I do not want to get chandai with REAL 
programmers.
