[Ilugc] Any option in linux?

Hi, one of my friend just temporary lost all of her data from pendrive
because of virus issue in her windows machine. Those doc+pdf files are
really important to her. We can see all files there in her pendrive but she
cannot open it because of "corrupted" issue. I tried to open those files
with openoffice suite, but .. .there the fonts are gone!!

So, is there any tools to retrieve those data?
