Are you trying to copy the 4.4GB image as a file or burn the image
itself as a DVD?

I would suggest the latter as you will get to use that DVD for
installation and other purposes directly. If you copy the ISO file in
the DVD you need to mount that file over a loopback device to look at
the contents.
