I recommend you read the entire thread before replying. He wants to use the
rpms
on Archlinux. Archlinux uses a home-bred package manager called pacman which
works on tar.gz style archives..

I seriously recommend you stay awake one night and use your night time to
download
kdemod on Archlinux. It is widely acknowledged to be the best package for
kde. It is both
highly modular and also optimized to a great extent.
