off-course people can discuss about ILUGC anywhere.
But can ILUGC encourage it?

The way out is to call for/ announce development of such an alternative and
call for contributors & sponsors :-)

mailing lists, irc, drupal/ django that powers the two sites of ILUGC are
free. but these social sites?

there can always be fans out there, any where, not wearing a formal cap of
ILUGC doing all these stuffs for ILUGC...
Wearing a formal cap, such things should be strongly discouraged, IMHO.
Whenever a clarification of any kind on Proprietary softwares are sought here,
I have seen voices that says, this is not the place to ask.
I wish a similar approach is reflected in this regard too.
